- PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS: Sundancer should be planted in locations receiving at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight each day. Clay based or heavy soils are preferred. Sow 2-3 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. into a firm seed bed, keep soil moist through emergence, and apply starter fertilizer.
